NVQ Level 3 Customer Service
Who is the course suitable for?
This NVQ is aimed at candidates who are in work roles where they have to provide a continually improving service to customers and are able to effect permanent improvements for the benefit of customers and the organisation.
It is suitable for candidates:
- who are able to suggest and help implement changes to improve customer service
- who are experienced problem solvers
- who can communicate clearly
- who have particular customer service job titles, such as customer service adviser
- who are in designated customer service departments
- whose role is mainly to provide service to customers, for example, call centre/hotel staff or
- who recognise customer service is a part of their role within the organisation even though they may be carrying out non-customer service roles, such as engineers
What's involved?
To achieve a full award, candidates must complete five mandatory units plus one optional unit, making a total of six units.
Mandatory units
- 1 Organise, deliver and maintain reliable customer service
- 2 Improve the customer relationship
- 3 Work with others to improve customer service
- 4 Monitor and solve customer service problems
- 5 Promote continuous improvement
Optional units
- 6 Develop your own and others' customer service skills
- 7 Organise and promote products or services to customers
- 8 Lead the work of teams and individuals to improve customer service
How long will it take to achieve?
This depends on motivation and commitment, however it is scheduled for delivery over 2 years.
Fees
FNTC has access to government funding through the learning and skills council dependent on the time of the year. You need to be 16 to 25 years old to qualify for government funded training. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
