Guest Speaker Duke from the Wheatsheaf Trust

19 October, 2017 By James Frampton

This week FNTC welcomed a wonderful guest speaker – Duke, from Wheatsheaf Trust Southampton. Duke came in to give a motivational speech to some of our pre-apprenticeship learners (and apprentices)
The learners felt that, “he gives you hope in knowing that you can come from any background and still make something of yourself”, “it was very engaging and thought provoking”.

Emily commented “I feel so grateful for being enabled the opportunity to meet Duke, he has really inspired me to believe in myself and to recognise how to get the most out of life even when faced with challenges and struggles. I have taken more than I can express from Duke’s speech and would like to thank him for the awesome work he does with young people around the UK (you deserve a pride of Britain award).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Duke for coming in and really inspiring our learners.
